I don't know if this problem occurs on newer platforms, like current-gen consoles or powerful PCs, but you'd better be wielding splash-damage weapons when this happens, because hitting anything with precision is going to be practically impossible. Those performance issues though? As soon as the action picks up and things start getting remotely hectic, the framerate goes to absolute crap. My first match with random people online lasted almost two hours, and only ended because the game glitched out and didn't spawn a boss and everyone just decided it was best to give up.
My only major complaints, and why I've deducted a point or two, are the potential length of the matches and some major performance issues.
